iBeani – a great idea in concept but how useful are they? Essentially a tiny bean bag in a variety of differently style fabrics, the iBeani is a product that you essentially nestle your tablet into/onto so that you’re not struggling to find a perfect reading angle, craning your next doing damage or sat holding the thing for hour upon end.
Usage is simple enough, plonk your tablet onto the iBeani and adjust to your require viewing angle and it does what it says ‘on the tin’ and on the side of the wee bag, there’s a small pocket for your phone or small purse/wallet. It definitely does ease the strain on your neck and negate the need to be constantly holding onto the tablet you’re surfing or making daft impulse purchases from QVC on. Is it an essential purchase? I wouldn’t say yes, but I would say that if you’re conscious of neck pain after prolonged usage of your device, then it’s worth a serious consideration.
My wife and I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and it’s really comfortable, made of durable material and sturdy enough around the main body of the bag – BUT the stitching of the pocket seems to be coming lose now and it looks like the sewing machine’s going to have to be dusted off.
